Connecticut River 9/15

We paddled up towards the Montshire Museum yesterday and saw the usual array of birds: green heron, wood duck, mallards, mergansers etc. It started out with the fog making interesting patterns.

North Hartland Lake 9/12

We spent quite a while watching an immature bald eagle yesterday on North Hartland Lake.

North Hartland Lake provided a show of the usual herons and turtles but also had an osprey hanging around.

Connecticut River 9/4-5

We paddled on the Connecticut yesterday afternoon and were joined by Jamie, Conner and Mardrey this morning.

We saw the usual ducks,
