It has been nearly 2 years since Hurricane Irene came through and created floods. Today I hiked the Jericho Brook trail. We have had a lot of rain recently, the ground is saturated. The brook is at spring runoff levels. I came across a picture of a spring runoff at the same place, from a few years back, pre-Irene, and thought it would be a good comparison. You can see where moss and silt have been scoured away.
