Michael has had a love for photography since he bought his first camera in 1970. Trained at the University of North Dakota and at the New England Institute of Professional Photography, he started Mindpictures, Inc., in 1978.
He has worked with creative darkroom techniques and, since the introduction of computer imaging, continues to find new ways to say just the right thing in an image.
He is a past president of the Vermont Professional Photographers and served on the board of the Professional Photographers Association of New England. He received the National Award in 1992, the VPP Presidents Award in 1994 and 2014, the degree of Photographic Craftsman in 1995, and VPP Honorary Life Membership in 2014.
