We paddled the Ompompanoosuc River yesterday afternoon, seeing great blue herons, a few ducks, a squirrel and a variety of little
birds.

A foggy morning on the Ompompanoosuc River this morning.

North Hartland Lake 9/12

We spent quite a while watching an immature bald eagle yesterday on North Hartland Lake.

North Hartland Lake provided a show of the usual herons and turtles but also had an osprey hanging around.

North Hartland Lake 8/30

North Hartland Lake again lived up to our expectations: We saw herons, cormorants, and turtles.
