Wilder walk in the snow

The water was low this morning by the Wilder Dam, with a little light snow falling.

We haven’t seen Lame Duck since the day he was with a lady friend, which was also the day we saw a duck hunter and heard a couple of shots. I hope he went south. We did see this lady mallard.

Dogs, ducks and dragon

Walking the dogs in Wilder, we saw dogs, ducks and a dragon.

The river was partially covered with a skim of ice. Lame Duck came in for a landing,

but was surprised when it was solid and slippery.
