Last night I went to Gina and The Raqs Salaam Dance Theater’s 9th Annual Middle Eastern and American Belly Dance Showcase. These are the beginner dancers many of whom have been in the same classes that I have been in.
Every year there is a comedy sketch.
The finale included some of Gina’s youngest students and one of her oldest. Aya has been in my belly dance class and also holds a black belt in Karate.
