Ducks

Ducks being ducks: feeding, preening etc. A momma with 10 young, probably the same family we saw several weeks ago.
We got too close so Momma led the family away.

Green heron and chipmunk


While paddling on North Hartland lake this morning, we came upon something I hadn’t seen before: a swimming chipmunk. When we came upon him, he was more than half way across the lake/river.
