Last day at North Hartland Lake

Today was the last day that North Hartland Lake was open. I wish we had another month of paddling there.

We saw our usual array of wildlife: cormorants, great blue herons, eagles, turtles, kingfishers, yellow legs, blue jays, and other birds.

The Connecticut River came through again and provided interesting wildlife.

Lower Baker Pond and North Hartland Lake

Yesterday we went to Lower Baker Pond with Jane’s sister Suzy and brother Rick.

This morning we went to North Hartland and finally saw eagles along with the usual variety of wildlife.
