It was time for a dog walk this morning. It was foggy near the river.

George Pond
Today we went to George Pond in Enfield Center.
The boat landing was very muddy and shallow. I temporarily lost my shoe in the mud and we had difficulty in paddling out.
The day was beautiful, the colors near peak.
We didn’t see much wildlife: just a pair of mallards, a few little brown birds, dragonflies and heard splashes that may have been frogs and/or turtles.

It was foggy this morning on the Connecticut.
We saw more boats today than we have on any other paddle on the River.
