Last night I went to Gina and The Raqs Salaam Dance Theater’s 9th Annual Middle Eastern and American Belly Dance Showcase. These are the beginner dancers many of whom have been in the same classes that I have been in.<\/p>\n

There were dances from various countries in the Middle East. This dance was from Persia.
